The 24th Seemant Welfare Association Delhi (SWAD) Annual Function 2014 was held on 28th Dec'2014 at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra, Sector 6, Noida. The cultural program started at 2 pm which was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Shri Udai Singh Rawat, Vice Chancellor, Shri Dew Suman Viswabidyalaya (SDSV). During the program ladies, gents & children participated whole heartily to make the event successful. The programs were organized in zonal manner. The best performance of the event was given to the group from Shalimar Garden who performed in “Mero budhya ku byo cha re”.
On this occasion Dr. Dayal Singh Burfal (Gamshali) (member of SWAD) was presented special memento as a token of appreciation from SWAD for his outstanding social works and support to the society. Mementos for appreciation were also presented to Dr. Meenakshi Rana , Mr. Pratap Singh Rana & Dr. Silpa Pal Rana for excellent service and achievements in their respective fields.
Post inauguration an educational interaction session was also held by Mr. & Mrs. Prakash Rawat (Mehrgaun) with the students of society who are appearing for civil service and other competitive exams.
After prize distribution, the program ended with traditional dance on traditional dhol in which all members and guests participated to say good bye to 2015 and to welcome new year 2015.
