On 7th April 2012 “Young Uttarakhand Cine Awards 2013” was organized by Young Uttarakhand Organization at Dr. Sarvpallli Radhakrishanan Auditorium, Kendriya Vidhyalay No. 2, A.P.S.Coloney Delhi Centt. New Delhi. This was the 4th Award Function of the organisation since 2010 to promote the Uttarakhand Cine and Music Industry and giving due recognition to the artists of cine Industry. 
Among all winners, the most happiest person in the function was Kishan Mahipal who has won the Best Singer Male award third time for his album “Ae Janu Re”. The album “Ae Janu Re” won 5 awards in the musical category. After receiving the award of Best Singer Male, the signer sung few lines of his song “Ghuguti” on the request of the audience.

Earlier, in 2010, Kishan Mahipal won awards for Best Singer Male and Best Music Album for his album “Ho Jiya” and in 2011 he won awards of Best Singer Male and Best Album Director for album “Samanya Bouji”. The singer has been putting efforts to combine the music with his melodies voice and the culture in his albums since his first album.
The singer belongs to Rongpa community (from Mana Valley) of Chamoli District and has sung few beautiful and melodious song in Rongpa dialect. With his initiative, first Rongpa Video Song “Khyalang gya nyud” was featured in his first album which made a place in the hearts of the community people. His fans are now waiting for his next album.
